On Monday October 18th from 6:30p-8:30p the Union County Human Relations Commission will be holding a free public education forum, "Foreclosure: Moving From Fear to Positive Action" at St. Helen's Roman Catholic Church, 1600 Rahway Ave, Westfield.
With so many of our neighbors in danger of losing their home, this should be a great opportunity for all of us to learn what NJ is offering as far as assistance goes.
The forum is designed to help guide homeowners who are facing foreclosure as well as tenants in properties with foreclosure issues. Hopefully this will calm some anxiety. In addition to contacting a CDPE designated Realtor like myself for assistance, there are a lot of other free resources and referral information available to NJ residents like free legal representation and housing counselors.
My firm, Century 21 Emma Realtors in Summit, NJ is well positioned to help distressed homeowners in Union, Essex and Morris counties.
I'm looking forward to seeing you all next Monday in Westfield.
